Jite Clears Mountainous Refuge Dump At Dede Primary School: Gets Commendations.

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council Hon.(Chief) Jite Brown (JP) has been commended for clearing the age-long mountainous refuge Dump at Dede Primary School in Orhuwhorun, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Residents of the area and pupils of Dede Primary who now heave a sigh of relief, prayed God to bless the Udu Council Boss for clearing the dump site which before now posed Health challenges for them.
Speaking during the exercise, the Executive Chairman of the Council who was represented by his Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Voke Bukata described the action of the residents who turned the School into Dump site as wicked as he revealed that now that the mountainous refuge has been cleared anybody caught dumping waste will be prosecuted.
He further stated that a special Environmental Task Force will soon be inaugurated to enforce the patronage of the Private Sector Participants(PSP) by all residents of the Udu Council area for waste disposal.
On her part, the Head of Environment, Udu Local Government Council, Sanitarian Elizabeth Okochi urged the residents of Orhuwhorun, especially traders and shop owners close to the Dede Primary School to engage the services of PSP to collect their waste as she warned the residents of Udu Local Government Council that the administration will prosecute any one caught dumping waste indiscriminately.
The elated President of Orhuwhorun Community, Chief Joseph Tefue commended the Chief of Udu Local Government Council Hon Chief Jite Brown JP for the clearing and clean up exercise.
Tefue promised to enlighten traders, shop owners and other residents around the school on the need to stop dumping waste in the School premises.
